Time to look at the Pantone colors again as we’re clearly into spring now (well at least here) and get a bit of color inspiration for seasonal projects.
from Pantone website
Some pretty pastels, the color of the year we visited here, and some more intense and darker shades. A lovely palette to work from as the days get longer. I had fun playing around with yarn colors and build mock Pantone palettes with yarns.
For the first one, I chose a selection from the Tanis Fiber Arts collection. I chose the closest colours I could find. I love the Atlantic shade, and Sand is a bit lighter it looks here I think.

Quince & Co is kind of inevitable when you want to play around with colors -hard not to find what you’re looking for. Snap pea and Chanterelle would look great together on a light spring shawl.

Then I went to my favorite site to play around with yarn colors and tried to find the closest interpretations. It was tough for Kale, I could not really find the yarn that was the right mixture of olive, green and pine that seems to be Kale, so I settled for a kind of olive shade.

So, are you planning to integrate some of these spring colors in your projects this season ? Which one is your favourite ? I am definitely into Primrose Yellow with my Thessaly. It is progressing quite well (much more than on this picture), so I hope to be able to wear it before spring ends. I love the Flame too, this Zinnia shade above is just amazing. Orange is the colour of joy – I think we all need some serious dose of joy right now, don’t you ? Let’s paint the town Flame.
Such a wonderful post! Though I tend to use neutral colors most of the time, I love this palette!

Oooh! I love the TFA palette you’ve come up with here. I never would have thought to put Seabreeze next to Hunter but seeing it here makes me realize that I love it! But then again, I love Seabreeze with just about everything.

Love this round up, it’s incredible!! I think Hunter is my fave for garments (but I love green) and pale dogwood.

Thanks for sharing these beautiful palettes, Agnes. Your selections are spot on – what an incredible eye for colour! I’m happy to read that the Thessaly is going well. The primrose yellow is such a lovely shade. Chanterelle and shell are among my favourites on the palettes you’ve shared. But they are all so beautiful. Thanks for this bit of colour-therapy! 🙂

You’re welcome! Indeed, it feels therapeutic to play around with beautiful colors, I just wish I could hold them as well. Now that gives me an idea – I should do my stash pantone palette too, I have so many colors in my stash I’m pretty sure I could find these ten. You love the pale neutrals, these are lovely indeed.
